| Looking for mini, towable backhoe |
I am looking for a company to manufacture according to plans a mini, towable backhoe.
This machine would fall into the Light General Engineering/Agricultural/Construction machinery catagory. This mini, towable backhoe is fabricated from standard thick walled hollow section steel tubing and metal plate. It is not self-propelled via the motor, but moves around the worksite by pushing or pulling itself with the extended boom and bucket. The 8.5hp motor is soley used to power the low pressure hydraulic system.

The plans are very simple to follow. I produced one in a single car garage after hours in 23 days using pre-cut metal sections, an arc welder and other basic tools. However to go into production in South Africa is too costly for the market to bear.
I therefore require a quotation (based on plans which I will submit) to produce a sample model on which any minor/final adjustments can be made; as well as a quotation on production models shipped to Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
