Our firm is working with a group in Nigeria, Rice Farmers association of
Nigeria(RIFAN)as a strategic desision in anticipation of the Federal Government of Nigeria ban on importation of Rice to Nigeria by January 2006 OUTRIGHTLY.Our country is known to be the largest importer of Rice in the world.Our annual comsumption is in excess of 6 million metric tonnes and we import over 70% from mostly Thailand and India.In lieu of this, all the stakeholders in rice farming are warming up to this development so as to meet up with the demand soonest(we have formed a stong tie with the rice farmers association here in Nigeria).Because of the Government policy.As a result,we are proposing an alliance with your company to set up a Rice
processing mill(We are facilitating this in conjuction
with some stakeholders in Nigeria and the Rice farmers
association of Nigeria).Please find the details below:
*Project- To set up a rice processing mill in Nigeria
with interested techincal partners from China for
equipment supply and the entire set up of the rice
processing mill.
*Capacity - Between 50,000- 100,000 metric tonnes per
annum.(100 -200 metric tonnes per day)
*Project details - Equity Options available to Chinese
companies that will be interested to form alliance in
Nigeria.All equipments will be sourced from China and
supplied by the chinese partners.Export buyers/sellers
credit options from China will be considered very
attractive form the Chinese companies.Letters of
credit will be established from Nigerian counterparts.
*The project set up will be milling of rice paddy to
finished rice ready to cook(this will be carried out
with the state-of-the-art equipments that will make
the process to be very cost effective and also faster
to mill rice).Refurbished equipments will be preffered
with at least 36 months warantty of uninterrupted
performance.
*We have 9 months for the entire project set up.
